Why is TMV better than creating my own database or storing files on my hard drive?
In the event of a disaster (theft, fire or flood), there is a pretty good chance that your personal computer or laptop will be stolen or damaged along with your other valuables.
Is my information secure?
Yes, TMV uses 128-bit certificates to secure your personal information.
Who has access to my valuables and their current value?
You are the only person that will access the data for your valuables. The TMV Customer Service Specialists do not have permissions to view or modify your valuables.
TMV reserves the right to randomly search for unauthorized/illegal valuables that violate the TMV Terms of Use.
Why am I having problems attaching a picture file?
TMV only supports GIF, JPEG and PNG file extensions.
All picture files must be smaller than 150 KB.
Free subscriptions do not support picture files. Please upgrade your subscription to Gold.
Why am I having problems adding valuables?
Please check to see how many valuables you have. You may need to upgrade your subscription.
Free subscriptions allow 5 or fewer valuables.
Gold subscription allows for unlimited valuables.
If I upgrade my subscription, do I get a discount due to my current subscription?
Yes, your old subscription will be prorated and discounted from your new upgraded subscription during the checkout process.
How do I make the size of my picture smaller?
Use the “Crop” function of your picture editor to trim the unneeded edges or wasted space on the picture.
Reduce the amount of colors and/or resolution using your picture editor.
How is depreciation/current value calculated?
The current value is calculated by using the annual straight-line depreciation technique.
